Ayla Glass is an American stand-up comic, writer, and producer. She was a story editor and writer on When Calls the Heart in Season 10.
Biography[]
Ayla grew up in Overland Park, KS and is a graduate of Dartmouth College. Previously, she held script coordinator and writers' assistant positions on A BLACK LADY SKETCH SHOW (HBO) and MAO MAO: HEROES OF PURE HEART (Cartoon Network) respectively. In 2021, Ayla was featured on Coverfly and Tracking Board's THE NEXT LIST as an emerging writer to watch. Ayla was an Associate Producer on Seth Green's 2019 directorial debut, CHANGELAND, and for five years assisted Mr. Green on projects at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios.
In comedy, Ayla has attended the improv and sketch programs at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and the The Pack Theater. She is an alum of Pack Theater house sketch team PATSY, and was the head writer and creator of THE BAE*GENCY, a monthly all women of color sketch and variety show.
Ayla currently resides in Los Angeles, CA with her dog Winnie the Poodle.
