Erin Alisa Krakow (born September 5, 1984) is an American actress. She portrays Elizabeth Thornton in When Calls the Heart.
Biography[]
Erin Krakow was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She later lived in Wellington, Florida, with her brother, Kyle Krakow, and her parents, Morgan Krakow and Dr. Elliott Krakow. She attended the Alexander W. Dreyfoos Jr School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida. She studied drama at the Juilliard School in New York City, and began her acting career on stage, with roles in The Importance of Being Earnest, George the Fourth, and Steel Magnolias.
Since 2014, Erin has regularly been featured on the Hallmark Channel. That year, she began starring in When Calls the Heart, and also starred in her first movie for Hallmark, Chance at Romance. Erin’s newest Hallmark movie will air during Countdown to Christmas 2024. It is titled Santa Tell Me, and will reunite her with former When Calls the Heart co-star Daniel Lissing.

Personal Life[]
Erin is in a long-term relationship with When Calls the Heart castmate Ben Rosenbaum. They share a dog together named Willoughby. Erin and Ben are good friends with many of their castmates, especially Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace. The four of them often travel together when they are not busy working.
