Gabriel "Gabe" Montgomery is the eldest child of Cat Montgomery. He is portrayed by Mitchell Kummen.
Background[]
He is oldest child of the late Joe and Cat Montgomery. He has a younger brother Miles and and younger sister Emily. In 1910, at 14 he lost his father in a Coal Mining explosion before meeting Elizabeth.
Storyline[]
Season 1[]
In season 1's "Lost and Found," it was shown how much his father's death has hurt him. He quickly defends his mother in "Secrets and Lies" when she is accused of church arson. Gabe has a younger brother, Miles and a little sister, Emily.
Trivia[]
- In Facing the Music, his sister says she'll borrow money from her brother in order to pay for the special choir opportunity, but it's unknown if she's is indirectly referring to him or Miles.
- After his final appearance in Trials of the Heart, Miles and Emily became the only Montgomery characters to appear in every season, which would later be given to Emily when Miles made his final appearance in Forever in My Heart.
