Grace Thatcher is the wife of William Thatcher and mother to Elizabeth Thornton. She appears in Season 2 of When Calls the Heart.

Elizabeth went to Hamilton to visit Grace because she was having some health problems, including weakness and dizziness. These issues turned out to be side effects of a medication she was taking.

Grace was unable to attend Elizabeth’s wedding to Jack because she was in London helping Viola with her new baby.
