Kristin Lehman (born May 3, 1972) is a Canadian film and television actress, producer, and director. She has been a director for When Calls the Heart since Season 12.
Biography[]
Kristin Lehman was born in New Westminster, British Columbia, grew up in Vancouver and studied classical ballet at Canada's Royal Academy of Dance for eight years. She has acted professionally since 1995. She most recently starred as a series regular in the Netflix series Midnight Mass (2021), and had a recurring part in Grey's Anatomy (2005).
As a director, she brings with her a natural fluidity between character, narrative, and script. Also, she brings expert knowledge of the camera, helping to create an evocative visual language. Kristin holds the distinction of being the first Canadian actress to headline, direct, and actively produce a Canadian network television show for 4 seasons, on the joint CTV/ NBCU production, Motive (2013).
Kristin is married to Adam Greydon Reid, who appeared in Season 4 of When Calls the Heart as Mr. Stoneman. They have one child together, Sam Reid.
