- According to the class list for parent-teacher conferences, Mary and Dewitt had a daughter named Hazel, who was a member of Elizabeth’s classroom in 1918.
- Mary and her family appear to have moved away from Hope Valley sometime between 1918 and 1920, as they were not listed on the voter rolls during the gubernatorial election of 1920.
