Michael "Mike" Rohl is a Canadian film and television director and producer.
Biography[]
Mike Rohl began his career in the raw and exciting world of improv comedy before transitioning into Film and Television by directing his award-winning debut comedy feature, Zacharia Farted. Mike is known for The Princess Switch, The Princess Switch: Switched Again and The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star. For The Princess Switch trilogy, he worked with former When Calls the Heart writer and executive producer Robin Bernheim, who was the writer of all three films.
He first directed for When Calls the Heart in Season 2, and became a producer on the show in Season 4. He also directed the first two episodes of When Hope Calls. He is an alumni member of the Vancouver Theatre Sports League and The Loose Moose Theatre Company under the tutelage of world-renowned improv guru Keith Johnstone. He is also the father of actress Kacey Rohl.
