Biography[]
Morgan Kohan was born on December 30, 1993, and raised in British Columbia, Canada, where she spent most of her childhood dancing competitively. Her focus quickly shifted to acting once she was accepted into the Triple Threat Program at Randolph Academy in Toronto and upon graduating, she set her sights on film and television.
Since then, Kohan has quickly risen in the industry. In 2019, she starred in three feature films: The Marijuana Chronicles, which screened in competition at the 2019 Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Jade's Asylum which premiered at the 2019 Fantasia Festival, and the quirky comedy, Kitty Mammas.
On the small screen, Kohan is known for her lead role as Lillian Walsh in the television series, When Hope Calls. She also guest starred as Lillian on When Calls the Heart. Other television credits include guest appearances in Netflix's YA series, Creeped Out, Star Trek: Discovery (with Kyana Teresa, June Laporte, Christopher Russell, Hanneke Talbot, Chelah Horsdal, and Liam Hughes), The Bold Type, Kim's Convenience, and a recurring role as Evie Beaumont in CBS's Ransom. Kohan currently stars in the romantic drama series, Sullivan's Crossing, which resulted in her exit from When Hope Calls in 2025.
