Peter was the son of Noah and Abigail Stanton. He died alongside his father when the coal mine collapsed in 1910. He left behind a widow, Clara. They were only married for two days before his untimely death. Peter has two adopted younger siblings who he has never met, since Abigail adopted them after his death.
