Season Eleven of the drama series When Calls the Heart premiered on April 7, 2024.
Plot[]
This season focuses on the growing relationship between Elizabeth and Nathan, and a mystery surrounding the shooting of Lucas. Faith becomes a foster mother to a little girl. Mike and Mei continue their romance, which culminates in their wedding at the end of the season. Lucas plans to build a resort, but due to the evil schemes of his ex-girlfriend Jeanette, is unable to bring it to fruition, so he begins to plan for a national park instead. Henry joins Lucas’s team as an advisor. Elizabeth has to once again deal with Thomas Higgins, who sexually harassed her and tried to get her fired several years ago. This time, she’s able to bring him to justice, with Nathan’s support.
With Minnie’s encouragement, Joseph grapples with his estrangement from his brother Jacob, and after Angela and Cooper get involved, finally is able to reconcile with him. Allie seeks out her birth father in search of answers, but is rebuffed by him, and grows closer to Nathan during the process. Lee becomes mayor, and Rosemary continues her work at The Valley Voice, while also teaming up with Bill to investigate Lucas’s shooting. Tom Thornton returns to Hope Valley to visit his brother’s grave and meet his nephew. Elizabeth and Nathan help him out of a jam, which also results in the town’s first music festival. Elizabeth apologizes to Nathan for hurting him and finally confesses her love; she and Nathan put the past behind them and move forward with an official relationship. At the very end of the season, Superintendent Hargraves shows up, wanting to speak to Elizabeth about something relating to her late husband, Jack.
