Season Six of the drama series When Calls the Heart premiered on February 24, 2019.
Plot[]
Mayor Abigail Stanton brings the telephone to Hope Valley, but then must leave town to help her sick mother. Elizabeth meets two potential suitors: Nathan Grant, a Mountie, and Lucas Bouchard, a businessman. Henry Gowen starts an oil company. Elizabeth helps Nathan’s niece Allie adjust to life in Hope Valley. A man from Lucas’ past puts Elizabeth in danger. The town celebrates Founders’ Day.

Trivia[]
- This is the first season without Jack Thornton.
- The season was put on a temporary hiatus between “A Vote of Confidence” and “Heart of a Mountie.” It was retooled after Lori Loughlin's arrest, in relation to the 2019 college admissions bribery scandal, and her removal from all Crown Media Holdings projects.
- Season six was originally planned to be 10 episodes; however, due to the combining of "Hope is With the Heart" with "Heart on My Sleeve", it was decreased to nine episodes.
- Abigail was supposed to have met Nathan in “Heart of a Mountie,” but due to her removal from the episode, the two characters now have never met.
- Abigail originally had a storyline involving Theo Richardson, an artist from her past, but this storyline was ultimately scrapped.
