Plot[]
Clara and Jesse experience marital discord. Elizabeth and Lucas begin dating, although Nathan finds it difficult to set aside his feelings for Elizabeth. Issues at Gowen Petroleum continue to cause friction between Lucas and Henry. Nathan's past at Fort Clay is revealed, leaving Elizabeth in shock. Lee and Rosemary's niece Rachel comes to town and falls for Henry's son Christopher. Molly becomes interested in Bill, who is ordered to turn in his Mountie uniform. Elizabeth pushes to have Angela, a blind student, become part of her class. A mysterious businessman arrives, seeking to buy property in and around Hope Valley. Florence and Ned celebrate their wedding. Elizabeth makes a choice between her two suitors.
