Siobhan Devine is a British-Canadian director. She has been a director on When Calls the Heart since Season 8.
Biography[]
Siobhan’s feature debut, The Birdwatcher, amassed international acclaim as a stylish and emotional film featuring incredible performances by some of Canada’s most talented actors. She was recognized for her work on this film with the Leo Award as Best Director of a Feature Film. She has gone on to direct several movies for both Lifetime Network and Hallmark.
Siobhan is currently a regular director on a wide variety of shows including Netflix hit Virgin River, Hallmark fan favorite's Chesapeake Shores and When Calls the Heart as well as the SyFy show Reginald the Vampire. She is also a multi award-winning director on the CBC/Netflix show Kim’s Convenience.
As the mother of two, she has a special place in her heart for working with children and has directed children's shows for YTV, Netflix, Disney and Nickelodeon. She was recently nominated for a DGC Award for Best Direction of a Children’s Show for Gabby Duran and the Unsittables.
